1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Cambio application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cambio ("we," "us," or "our"). Your continued use of the App following any updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Description of Service

Cambio is a currency rate reference tool available for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. The App provides:

• Real-time and near-real-time rate lookups for 120+ fiat currencies (USD, EUR, BRL, GBP, and others)
• Rate lookups for cryptocurrencies (including but not limited to BTC, ETH, SOL) against fiat currencies
• Rate alerts with push notifications when a rate crosses a user-defined threshold
• Custom rate entry for any currency pair
• Historical rate charts
• Home screen widgets and a native Apple Watch app displaying exchange rate information

3. Not a Currency Exchange — Not Financial Advice

Cambio is not a currency exchange, money transfer service, financial advisor, broker, or dealer. Using Cambio does not result in any currency being exchanged, transferred, bought, or sold on your behalf. No transaction of any kind is initiated through the App.

The rates shown in the App are reference values fetched from third-party data providers. They are intended to help you understand approximate market rates and are not quotes, offers, or guarantees of any rate you will receive from a bank, exchange, or transfer service. Actual rates offered by financial institutions will differ and may include fees, spreads, or other charges not reflected in the App.

Nothing in the App should be interpreted as financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other kind of professional advice.

3a. Rate Alerts — Limitations

Rate alerts are a convenience feature to notify you when a rate crosses a threshold you define. By enabling rate alerts, you acknowledge that:

• Alert delivery depends on iOS background refresh capabilities and may be delayed or not delivered due to device settings, battery conditions, or network availability
• The rate shown in a notification is fetched at the time of the background check and may not reflect the exact rate available from any financial institution
• Cambio does not guarantee real-time or continuous rate monitoring
• An alert notification is informational only and does not constitute a quote, offer, or recommendation to transact

4. Rate Accuracy & Third-Party Data

Exchange rate data displayed in the App is sourced from third-party application programming interfaces (APIs), including but not limited to:

• ExchangeRate-API -- for fiat currency exchange rates
• Frankfurter API -- for supplementary fiat currency data
• CoinGecko API -- for cryptocurrency market data

We do not independently verify, guarantee, or warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, or availability of any data obtained from these third-party sources. Rates may be delayed, inaccurate, or temporarily unavailable due to factors beyond our control, including third-party API outages, network issues, or data feed interruptions.

We are not responsible for any errors or omissions in the data provided by these third-party services, nor for any actions you take based on such data.

5. Cryptocurrency Disclaimer

Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile. Prices of digital assets such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and others can fluctuate significantly within very short periods of time.

The cryptocurrency rates shown in the App:

• May not reflect the exact price available on any given exchange or trading platform
• Can become outdated within seconds due to market volatility
• Should not be used as the sole basis for buying, selling, or trading digital assets
• Do not constitute investment advice or a recommendation to engage in any cryptocurrency transaction

6. No Warranty (As-Is)

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results or data obtained through the App will be accurate or reliable
• Any defects in the App will be corrected
• The App will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cambio and its developers, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Financial losses resulting from reliance on exchange rate data
• Losses arising from currency or cryptocurrency transactions
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from service interruptions or data inaccuracies

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid for the App.

8. User Conduct

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You shall not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use automated systems, scripts, or bots to access or interact with the App in a manner that places excessive load on third-party API services
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App or any of its data
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering or fraud
• Attempt to circumvent any security features or access restrictions

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to its design, code, graphics, icons, user interface, and branding, are owned by Cambio or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. This license does not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.

10. Purchase & Refunds

Cambio is available as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. Your purchase includes all features available at the time of download, along with ongoing maintenance updates such as bug fixes, compatibility improvements, and minor enhancements.

As Cambio continues to evolve, certain new features or services may be introduced as optional additions. Core currency conversion functionality will always remain part of your original purchase.

All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Refund requests must be directed to Apple through their standard refund process. We do not have the ability to process refunds directly.

11. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our collection and use of personal information in connection with the App is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and consent to the practices described therein.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or via the App Store update notes.

Your continued use of the App after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the App.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cambio operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
